Rangers were playing in the Scottish semi finals today aggainst hamilton academicals steven whittaker opened the scoring first for rangers but a short time later hamitton pulled the score back to 1-1 lafferty got a goal in the 35th minute for rangers and just before half time Aaron niguez got his first goal for rangers by a penalty kick and the final two goal scorers were steven davis and kyle lafferty getting his second the final score finished 5-1 rangers progressed through to the semi finals to play st mirren who beat celtic yesterday so should be a good game

Rangers football club were founded in 1872 by the two brothers Moses and Peter McNeil as well as Peter Campbell and William McBeath, the only two matches they played that year were against Callander Fc ending in a nil nil draw,the second match playing against Clyde which ending as an 11-0 score the games were played on the Glasgow greens public pitches.
Rangers football club currently play in the Scottish premier league they are one of the biggest teams in the premier league where most likely there biggest rival plays as well called Celtic fc, the reason for having such a big rivalry one of the biggest reasons for this is religion as rangers support as a Protestant and union background and a Celtic support based on Catholic religion and when the two teams come to meet calling them the old firm.
Rangers are currently siting second in the league as celtic are siting at the top of the table with a point to spare, Rangers are having a glamor frendly om wednesday night against ac milan it should be a good night of football as ac milan world stars David beckham, kaka, ronaldinho, Paolo Maldini and Flippo inzaghi just to name a few.The Rangers Ac milan game finished in a draw at 2-2 damarcas beasley scored first the young boy pato after that kaka scored for ac milan then sasa papac scored to even the score.
